Corn class have been learning about what makes a hero.

We started our ‘Heroes Day’ with an assault course. We had to get sponsored by our friends and family. All the money we raise will be sent to the ‘Help for Heroes’ charity.

We have been remembering heroes that have fought and died in wars, heroes that help us and heroes that are inspirational. We have been very busy designing medals, writing postcards to injured service men and women and making poppies of remembrance.

We were very lucky to recieve a video clip from a real soldier who had answered our questions about life in the armed forces. We were able to look at his medals, clothes and photos from Iraq.
