Year 3 and 4 had the pleasure of being an audience for Steve Cole, the Author of the series Astrosaurs and Cows in action!
We had a brilliant morning and found out some very interesting facts!
Did you know…..
he has written 152 books!
He has sold 3 million books!
He writes for all ages.
His inspiration came from his love of Superheroes!

Yesterday, School Council met with some of the managers from HC3S to look at the new menu that is coming out soon.
During our lunch together, the children talked about what they particularly liked about our school dinners and suggestions they may have for changes to hot school dinners.
The children enjoyed a lunch of either roast beef or vegetarian sausage puff.
Now, the School Councillors have been asked to go back to their classes and gather feedback from them which we can then pass on to HC3S.
Thank you to everyone who came to support this event at our school.
We raised a fantastic £245.77!
Thank you also to everyone who helped to prepare and serve the tea and cakes too!
Welcome back! We hope you had a lovely summer and were able to enjoy the sunshine!
Remember to keep a watch out for new blog posts on our class pages!
It is always lovely for the children to see your positive feedback too!
There are some things that cost almost nothing that can so enrich a childhood with memories and enjoyment. So here’s our summer challenge.
How many of these things can you do during the long summer holidays? Tick them off on the sheet as you finish them and comment on this blog to let everyone know how you are getting on and which activities you enjoy the most.
Please note… Several of these things could be a bit dangerous if you aren’t careful, so make sure that you involve an adult and let them know what you’re doing.
